THE ACADEMY

The Academy - Tamblyn School of Personal Development and Modelling was founded by the esteemed local fashion and Television entity and 5-time logie winner, Pam Tamblyn, in 1987. Offering over 30 years experience, knowledge and expertise, The Academy have helped assist many past students develop into immaculately presented, well spoken, self confident individuals, enabling our students to “make the most of themselves” and apply their newly discovered skills in their everyday life and chosen career.

The Academy offers comprehensive Personal Development, Model Training, Kids Model Training, School and Corporate Training and Television Workshop training programs to cater for all age groups, individual needs and schedules. Programs are held at the Spring Hill Academy, either on the weekend or Holiday Vacation periods. We also offer private lessons for the time poor; programs can be built to suit your personal preference.

Emphasis is focused on small intimate groups to ensure individual instruction and attention is possible. At the conclusion of each term, the termed and holiday vacation students participate in a graduation presentation to showcase their new found skills in presentation, self esteem, grace and confidence. The students are presented a participation certificate.

The Academy specialised trainers hold a government issued Blue Card. Over the past 30 years, we are very fortunate and proud to witness the success, personal growth and self worth that our graduates now instil. To watch the graduates walking into a room with confidence, style and poise, is humbling.

The Academy has successfully trained countless local, national and international models, propelling them into the modelling industry.
